Four decades of precision craftsmanship, family values, and relentless investment in people and equipment.
In 1985, Garry Griggs started Magic Metals with 3 employees and a commitment to treating people right: employees and customers alike.
That philosophy has not changed. Four decades later, we have grown to over 150 associates, 200,000+ square feet of manufacturing space, and a reputation as one of the Pacific Northwest's most capable precision fabricators. But we are still family-owned, still hands-on, and still driven by the same values Garry built the company on.
Kevin Griggs, Garry's son and now majority share owner, joined the company in 1995 and has driven continuous investment in advanced technology: seven fiber lasers (including a 20kW system), robotic welding cells, robotic press brakes, 5-axis CNC machining, 3D metal and composite printing, and an automated powder coating line with Class A approval from major semiconductor OEMs. In 2022, Magic Metals acquired Renegade Powder Coating to further expand its finishing capabilities.
Under the leadership of President Brian Warren, a long-time Magic Metals employee who took the helm in 2020, the company continues to grow while staying true to its roots. Brian's deep knowledge of the business and the people behind it ensures that the culture Garry built remains the foundation of everything we do.
But the real story is the people. Many of our team members have been here 10, 15, even 20+ years. That depth of experience shows up in the parts we make and the partnerships we build. When your project hits the shop floor, it is being handled by people who have been solving fabrication challenges for decades.
